Parga and Epirus - A fine resort of Ionian sea
|Beautiful Parga, along with the narrow streets beneath
the Venetian castle, is located 60 km. northwestern to Preveza and 50 km. southeastern to Igoumenitsa.
It belongs to the prefecture of Preveza, in Epirus. The town of Parga is
amphitheatrically constructed, bewitching the visitor with its magnificent view to Ionian
Sea and to the island of Virgin Mary, with its little church. It is about a
region with historical importance, because during the centuries was conquered by invaders,
who have left their traces everywhere.
It has an important number of visitors every year, from Greece and abroad as well - it is a very popular holiday destination. The traditional buildings and taverns give the town a special, insular colour. Parga offers exciting nightlife but also entertainment of any type, just as long as it is rich of sights and interests for the visitor.
How you will get to Parga
During summer there is a ferry-line that connects it with the islands of Ionian close to it (Paxos, Antipaxos, Corfu etc.). You can also get to Parga by plane (with flights landing in the airport of Aktio - 63 km. from Parga or flights landing in the airport of Corfu) or by car (with your car or by buses). Moreover, our region is now easily accessible for the residents of north Greece, owing to Egnatia Highway.
Our lodge PARGA AGNANTI RESORT
One of the newest and luxurious lodges in Parga is our complex Parga Agnanti Resort. We have created this complex by taking advantage our great experience in hospitality that we have acquired by the running of our other lodge, of Villa Tousis. In Agnanti, beyond the magnificent view of the region, you will also enjoy your accommodation in a comfortable and hospital environment, with all the comforts. See more on the next pages.
